Trees and plants, like people, can get sick. Sometimes they get sick from bugs, funguses, viruses, or pathogens. Environmental factors are often a contributing factor. We take as many factors as possible into account when a prescription is needed for tree treatment. When plants go into decline, working with a highly-trained Certified Arborist is essential for proper diagnosis and tree treatment.
Holistic Approach
We believe a holistic approach is best. For example, perhaps the needles on your spruce trees are turning brown and falling off on the lower 1/3rd of the tree. This is a type of fungal needle cast disease. Standard procedure is a spray prescription. As Certified Arborists with more than 100 years of combined experience, we may immediately realize there is limited air flow either due to the planting location or quantity of plants.
