ROOT COLLAR EXCAVATION
This is done to fix several concerns beneath the canopy of your trees: compacted soil, girdling roots, and excessive soil/mulch burying roots too deep, cutting off air and nutrients.
Corrective and reduction pruning by providing the steps needed to alter future growth to reduce future storm damage issues.
TREE RISK ASSESSMENT
Professional inspection and review to promote the safety of people and property. We carry a special Tree Risk Assessment Qualification from the International Society of Arboriculture that qualifies us to give tree owners and risk managers the information to make informed decisions to enhance tree benefits, health, and longevity.
CABLING AND BRACING
When trees are determined to be a high risk during potential storms, they can be protected by cabling and bracing. This involves the installation of hardware to improve a tree’s structural integrity to reduce its risk of failing during a weather event.
Contract machine digging of balled and burlapped nursery stock into wire baskets, or hand dug into perfect burlapped balls. We give special care to assuring that all tree and shrub root systems are at the correct height for future planting. We also make sure the ‘digging package’ is professionally finished so that trees can survive the handling from the nursery to their destination.
